I had an idea for the blog. On the front page I wanted to have a rolling set of images, I had chosen four, and these would display at the top of the front page. I had decided it would be interesting to show four images that were in the same color group. Unfortunately, this capability was beyond what I am set up to do at the moment so I decided to use the pics in a post, plan B.
As I have looked back through old coloring books I have become aware of how several color patterns have show up consistently . In the beginning I would select the color for the center and move out from there. I learned combinations that worked well together and found myself repeating them over time.
One of my favorite combinations is my green group. Green is a color of the heart and of growth. Combining different shades of green and blue-green is peaceful and rejuvenating. The images below span about 15 years.

Finally, a piece of art I created when yet another seven pointed star went awry. 30X20 black canvas and paint sticks.
